Meet Our Team!

Helle

Helle Johansson

Helle Johansson

“I’m an adventurous eater, and will try pretty much anything at least once!”

Helle’s our Head of Food Partner Relations, so she helps orchestrate all the great eateries you find on Foodify. When she’s not managing all that, she’s spending time with her husband and 2 daughters. “In the winter time, my favorite activity is skiing. In the summer time, my favorite activity is going to the beach— and dreaming about skiing.”

As an adventurous eater who’ll give anything a try, she claims no favorite food. But she does have some particularly fond memories of sweets: “Back when I was a kid – many moons ago, in a time when you only had ‘treats’ once a week – my great-grandfather and I would ride our bikes every Sunday morning to our favorite bakery, where I got to pick any pastry I wanted! In the summer we would ride down to Kronborg Castle (in Denmark, where I’m from), find a perfect spot on one of the moats and eat while enjoying the beautiful scenery. In the winter we would ride back to his house where he would make coffee and we would listen to the radio.”

Erik Foss

Erik Foss
“One time I ate a whole cake, just because I said I would.”

Erik, or as he’s better known around the office, Rico Suave, helps our Foodify restaurants and caterers get their accounts all squared away so you can start ordering. He’s also our menu-building maestro. He’s a soccer fan (English Premier League, all the way!) who likes to run, read and hang out with his adorable 3-legged dog, Chauncey.

When it comes to food, a lot of his favorites are long-standing: “My favorite food is bacon pølser, a Norwegian style hot dog wrapped in bacon. It’s not the best thing I’ve ever tasted, but it’s up there, and sets me on a nostalgia trip every time I bite into one.” As far as places to get a bite, he’s been eating at Zazus Fresh Grille since he was a kid, and has great memories there.

Anisha Apte

Anisha Apte
“I was once involved in a full-blown cafeteria food fight.”

As a Food Partner Support Analyst, Anisha, (aka, “The Mean, Green Food Partner Machine,” though she denies it) works to bring new restaurants and caterers on board at Foodify. “My favorite part about this job is talking with restaurant and catering owners and hearing their stories. These people are passionate about their food and I love being able to help them share this passion with bigger audiences through Foodify.”

She’s a Virginia native, and a “Hoo” at heart, who enjoys painting, reading and hiking. She loves Thai and Mediterranean food, and you might spot her out in Charlottesville at Just Curry, Crozet Pizza or Bellair Market.

And yes, it’s true. While she loves good food, she did once use it as a weapon instead of a meal, in an epic 8th grade food fight: “We will always remember the flying pizza slice that started the war. Chaos immediately ensued, and students took refuge in the trenches between cafeteria tables, arming themselves with milk cartons and applesauce…”

Conrad Hunter

Conrad Hunter
“Leave everyone you meet feeling better about themselves”

Conrad, or just “Rad,” is responsible for growing revenue as the Chief of Revenue and Customer Experience Officer at Foodify. He knows the best way to keep sales up is to keep all you customers happy, and coming back for more Foodify.

Personally, he strives to leave everyone he meets feeling better about themselves. Professionally, his motto is to “underpromise and over-deliver.”

He’s a family man, married for 35 years with 2 daughters. He likes to run, play basketball, build sand castles and hike with the fam. The secret to his long-lasting marriage may be his wife’s cooking— he loves all the Foodify partners, but he says her spaghetti, which cooks all day long, is THE best. The only thing that might top it is an amazing chocolate mousse he had at 15 and still remembers fondly. (But, seriously, who could choose between chocolate or spaghetti?!?)

Eric Bonardi

Eric Bonardi

Eric Bonardi
“I love to meet and talk with people.”

Eric is the go-to-guy of Baltimore, running Marketing and Sales for Maryland and DC. He’s been working with Foodify for 10 years, and knows the company in and out, making him a whiz at solving issues for customers.

He’s so synonymous with Foodify in Baltimore, customers sometimes think he is Foodify. He’s that on top of it. But he’s had his mishaps, too. Luckily, he’s a super positive guy and turns those challenges around: “Once, I was driving to a presentation and spilled food all down the front of me before I got there. It was a good thing I sell food; it’s a good excuse.”

Eric has a wife, Beth, and 2 sons at home, Vincent and Noah. When they eat together, he likes his meals hearty; his 2 favorites are ribeye and bacon. The picks of a true food pro! They also go to Gianni’s often, because it’s close to home, and because they love the owners.

Dawn Lotts
“I wear many hats on a day-to-day basis”

Dawn is the Business Manager for Foodify, which means taking on a lot of different tasks to keep things running smoothly (and keeping the rest of us in line, too)! It’s a task and a half, but she does it for the love of the team. “We’re a strong team with great energy who work in a creative environment in the best location possible, Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall!”

When she’s not solving problems at work, she’s figuring out how to be a new Mommy to an adorable 9-month-old son. He also keeps her very, very busy! “Eventually (maybe when he’s 18?) I would like to return to some of my favorite hobbies like antiquing and golfing. In the meantime, I’ll continue to indulge in some of my favorite foods – creamed lima beans and chocolate ice cream with peanut butter! …Maybe I should add exercise to my favorite hobby list?”

Dana Boyd

Dana Boyd
“Always try to find a way to laugh!”

Dana is our Customer Engagement Analyst, helping you get the best service with Foodify. She’s also tech support, a web tester, and steps in anywhere she’s needed to make sure things run smoothly.

Dana recently rescued a black lab puppy named Ellie, who keeps her very busy. But she’s up to the challenge, because she kickstarts her morning with her favorites: pastries and coffee, or homemade breakfast biscuits from the market. You might also find her at Crozet Pizza at the Buddhist Biker Bar having a cocktail, or at Monsoon Siam.

She’s always been the one with the inside scoop about the local food scene: “When I was in college the baker at the local donut shop started making donuts for the next day at midnight. It was a local secret that the door was unlocked, and you could stop in any time after midnight, walk to the back of the shop into the kitchen, and buy a fresh donut for $1.” Yum.

Tim Hoehner

Tim Hoehner
“I love the challenge of coming up with unique ways of accomplishing common tasks.”

Tim manages all the customers in Houston. He’s genuinely passionate about people, and helping them with creative problem-solving. That’s why he loves sales — as long as he can be picky about where he works. He has to sell something he believes in.

On the weekends, you’ll probably find Tim on the slopes at Wintergreen Resort, where he’s a ski race coach. His favorite food is Chinese. And lucky for him, it’s a Christmas Eve tradition for his family. “This makes me happy. Fried rice can’t be beat, and orange flavored chicken… so good.”

Robin Stafford

Robin Stafford
“I like BLT salads… All the great ingredients but seemingly healthier!”

Robin is our Head of Customer Engagement, working with customers as well as  behind-the-scenes to build a more positive Foodify experience. She previously worked in an auction house for 7 years, and still enjoys going to auctions and perusing antique shops.

Her favorite food is a BLT salad. But, if she secretly didn’t like it, you probably wouldn’t know. She’s sneaky: “As a child we ate dinner at my grandparents’ house every Thursday night, and my grandmother made liver with onions every other time. There was a wooden box on the windowsill behind my chair and I would surreptitiously put my liver into that box every time! Not sure what happened to it in there, but I was never discovered!”
